We have been exposed to comics and cartoons since we are very little. Today, our means of communication are dominated by video, photography, and other forms of imageries. And way back before, ancestors of us Indonesians also used visual languages as a mean to communicate.
Yet stories are still delivered in dense columns of texts, which many of us wouldn’t even bother skimming.
Thus, infografi is our form of experiment in visual communication. Here, graphics are our main medium in telling every story, rather than mere decoration.
infografi will be presented in a quarterly magazine as our effort to deliver in-depth stories from Indonesia and the world from different viewpoints.
Each of our issue is composed through collaborations between young writers from different fields and talented artists. The results are visual-rich articles that comprised of comics, photographs, and infographics. At the heart of infografi is the spirit of sharing knowledge, experience, and simply good stories among good friends.
